Open Water Swim Clinic #1 for 2017
Swim Clinic Date:
- Saturday, July 15, 2017 9:00 – 11:30 AM, Cowells Beach, Santa Cruz, CA
REGISTRATION: Cost: $35 (pre-register)/$45 on event day. Space is limited. Pre-register.
In addition to our open water swim the following topics will be covered at our pre-swim clinic:
- Working with negative and positive “self-talk” before and during open water swims and events
- Gear issues
- Efficient sighting for straight swimming
- Specific techniques to work with fear and apprehension
- Training tips to swim faster in open water
- Drafting techniques
- Working with waves and swell
